Role Description The Cattle Feed Analyst is a full-time, in office role based at the SMC Agri Limited facility in Sikandra Rao. The role involves analyzing raw materials and finished cattle feed for nutritional composition, quality, and safety using standardized laboratory methods and instruments. The analyst will develop and maintain feed formulations, ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards, and prepare clear reports and documentation for internal stakeholders.

Daily responsibilities include sampling, testing, data recording, trend analysis, and collaboration with procurement and production teams to optimize feed quality and cost.



The role also requires participation in continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining laboratory hygiene and calibration records, and supporting audits and certifications related to feed quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong analytical and laboratory skills, including experience with sampling, chemical analysis, and use of basic lab instruments for feed or food testing.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of animal nutrition, feed formulation, and understanding of key parameters such as protein, fiber, moisture, and energy content.
- Candidates should possess competencies in quality assurance, documentation, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations in feed or food processing.
- Candidates should possess data handling skills, including basic statistics, record-keeping, and proficiency with spreadsheets or laboratory information systems.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, procurement, and quality teams, and to present findings clearly.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Science, Food Technology, or a related field is beneficial.
- Experience in feed mills, food processing, or agribusiness environments, and familiarity with safety, hygiene, and sustainability practices, will be an advantage.
