FlowGenie Technologies Pvt Ltd is a Chennai-based technology company (Guindy) that builds automation software for logistics, freight forwarding, CHA and warehousing businesses. Our software helps them reduce manual work in documentation, shipment tracking, billing, inventory and customer updates.

About the Role

We're looking for a self-driven Business Development Executive who knows the logistics and warehousing industry from the inside. This is a full-time field role.

There is no team lead. You are your own boss: you plan your own day, manage your own pipeline, and report directly to the Director. We need someone who can work independently and deliver results without day-to-day supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit freight forwarders, CHAs, 3PLs and warehouses across Chennai and Tamil Nadu (Parrys, Egmore, Ennore, Sriperumbudur, Oragadam, Red Hills, Tuticorin, Coimbatore, etc.)
- Identify and connect with owners, directors, operations heads and warehouse managers
- Understand their day-to-day operational problems and introduce our automation solution
- Set up meetings and product demos with decision-makers
- Build and maintain a database of decision-maker contacts and leads
- Follow up on leads and support deal closures
- Share regular activity and pipeline updates directly with the Director

Requirements

Must Have





- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, CHA or warehousing (operations, sales or customer service)
- Strong understanding of how logistics and warehouse businesses operate
- Existing network of contacts in the logistics industry
- Based in Chennai
- Willing to travel regularly in and around Chennai and across Tamil Nadu
- Good communication skills in Tamil and English
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision
- Two skilled references from previous employers. Background verification will be done before joining.

Preferred

- Own two-wheeler
- Prior experience selling software, ERP or services to logistics companies
- Familiarity with the Chennai port and customs ecosystem

What We Offer

- Fixed salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month, based on experience
- Travel allowance: ₹3,000 – ₹5,000 per month for Chennai travel
- Outstation travel within Tamil Nadu reimbursed at actuals
- Incentive: 5% – 10% of the revenue from every client you onboard, paid for as long as you remain employed with FlowGenie
- Salary review after 6 months based on performance
- Full independence: no team lead, direct access to the Director
