Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Back End Developer role based in the Greater Nagpur Area.

The Back End

Developer will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that power Novexa’s digital insurance platforms.

Responsibilities include building scalable and secure backend services, integrating with third-party systems, optimizing database performance, and ensuring data integrity. The role involves collaborating with front-end developers, product owners, and business teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.



The developer will also participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, implement best practices for performance and security, and contribute to continuous improvement of the technology stack.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming for building and maintaining server-side applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) to design robust, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
- Candidates should possess foundational Front-End Development skills to collaborate effectively with UI teams and ensure seamless integration.
- Experience with languages and frameworks commonly used for backend development (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Node.js, or similar) and RESTful API design.
- Hands-on experience with relational and/or MySQL databases, version control systems (e.g., Git), and secure coding practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in fintech or insurance technology domains is an advantage, along with familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices architectures.
