Role Description The Associate Vice President – Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Andhra Pradesh, India. This position is responsible for overseeing branch operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies, and driving business growth across retail, SME, and corporate banking products. Day-to-day tasks include managing branch staff, setting and monitoring performance targets, developing local business strategies, and enhancing customer experience through service excellence and relationship management.

The role also involves reviewing and approving key transactions, managing risk and audit requirements,



and coordinating with regional and head office teams on sales campaigns, process improvements, and digital adoption.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in branch banking operations, including customer service, transaction oversight, and compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
- Proven experience in sales and business development across retail banking products such as CASA, loans, cards, investment and insurance products.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams, setting targets, coaching staff, and driving performance in a branch environment.
- Sound understanding of credit, risk management, and audit processes, with the ability to identify and mitigate operational and financial risks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills for engaging with customers, local businesses, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency with banking systems, MS Office tools, and data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or professional banking certification is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in branch management or senior retail banking roles, preferably within large private sector or comparable financial institutions.
