Role Description The Associate Professor will be a full time, on-site faculty member based at Integral University in Lucknow, contributing to teaching, research, and academic administration in their discipline. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and laboratory or studio sessions; mentoring learners; evaluating performance through assignments, examinations, and projects; and maintaining accurate academic records. The role involves supervising postgraduate and doctoral research, publishing scholarly work, and participating in curriculum development to keep programs aligned with current academic and industry standards.

Professor will also support departmental activities, serve on academic committees, contribute to accreditation and quality assurance processes, and participate in outreach and professional development initiatives that advance the University’s mission.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in the relevant academic discipline, with a record of quality teaching at the university level and demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging course content.
- Proven research capabilities, including experience supervising research projects, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and contributing to conferences or academic seminars.
- Effective academic mentoring and learner support skills, including the ability to guide diverse learners, provide constructive feedback, and foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Competence in academic administration and coordination, such as participation in curriculum development, examination processes, accreditation activities, and departmental committees.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong command of English (and preferably Hindi), and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines.
- Relevant doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in the applicable field, with qualifications and experience aligned to national regulatory norms (e.g., UGC or other statutory bodies).
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical academic practices, continuous professional development, and use of educational technologies and learning management systems.
- Experience in community outreach, industry collaboration, or interdisciplinary initiatives will be considered an added advantage.
