Key Responsibilities:

Solution design and architecture

- Lead end-to-end solutioning for P&C; pursuits across policy administration, billing, claims, underwriting, rating, distribution, and reinsurance.
- Design solutions for custom application development, package implementations (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek and others) and system integrations.
- Define target-state business and technology architecture, solution scope, delivery approach, phasing, and transition plans.
- Build effort estimates, team structures, staffing pyramids and pricing models with delivery and finance teams.
- Weave in data, cloud, AI/automation and managed services where they strengthen the client outcome.

RFI / RFP and deal pursuit

- Own the solution response for RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and proactive proposals from qualification to submission.
- Read the deal dynamics: the client's buying drivers, evaluation criteria, incumbent position, competitors and stakeholders.
- Shape win themes, differentiators and value propositions; drive bid/no-bid inputs.
- Run solution workshops, orals, demos and client presentations, including with CXO-level audiences.
- Support due diligence, contract negotiations and the handover to delivery.

Winning proposals

- Write and storyboard compelling, client-specific proposals, executive summaries and solution decks.
- Build commercial constructs: fixed price, T&M;, outcome-based, and gain-share models.
- Identify and mitigate delivery, commercial and contractual risks in every solution.
- Maintain reusable solution assets, case studies, credentials and proposal templates.

Domain leadership and collaboration

- Act as the P&C; domain authority for sales, delivery and practice teams.
- Partner with technology and ISV partners on joint solutions and go-to-market.
- Track industry trends (e.g., core modernization, embedded insurance, GenAI in underwriting and claims) and turn them into offerings.
- Mentor solution architects and analysts; contribute to building the solutions function.

Required Qualifications





- 15+ years of total experience in IT services, insurance technology or consulting.
- Deep domain expertise in Property & Casualty insurance: personal, commercial and/or specialty lines; carrier, MGA, broker or reinsurance value chains.
- Strong understanding of technology projects involving application development and/or insurance package implementation, including SDLC, Agile and hybrid delivery models.
- Clear grasp of how solutions are built: scoping, architecture, estimation, staffing, pricing, risk and governance.
- Deep understanding of how AI agents can accelerate time to value for clients.
- Hands-on experience responding to RFIs and RFPs, with a working knowledge of procurement dynamics, evaluation processes and competitive positioning.
- Proven record of building and contributing to winning proposals.
- Excellent written communication, storytelling and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to work with US, UK and global clients, and across time zones.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or an MBA.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in a dedicated solutions, pre-sales or bid management role.
- Experience solutioning deals with a total contract value of USD 1M+ in the insurance vertical.
- Exposure to one or more P&C; platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek or similar).
- Familiarity with insurance BPO, data and analytics, cloud migration and AI-led automation offerings.
- Exposure to business process management services such as underwriting, claims, finance and accounting, and data and analytics will be an added advantage.
- Industry certifications such as CPCU, AINS, LOMA, TOGAF or cloud architecture certifications.
