Role Description The Assistant Manager Legal will support the legal function for Sula Vineyards in a full-time, on-site role based in Nashik, Maharashtra. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents and contracts across business operations. The position includes advising internal stakeholders on legal risks, supporting negotiations, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to corporate, commercial, and industry-specific matters.

The Assistant Manager

Legal will coordinate with external counsel when needed, maintain legal records and databases, and assist in handling disputes, notices, and litigation. The role also contributes to developing and updating internal policies, providing training on legal and compliance requirements, and supporting governance and risk management initiatives.

Qualifications

Solid foundation in Law with experience in corporate and commercial legal matters.

Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting,



reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.

Experience in Legal Consulting, providing clear, practical advice to internal stakeholders and management.

Hands on knowledge of managing the IP portfolio (trademark/copyright). To be support function in Litigation management of the company.

Hands-on experience managing Legal Affairs, including disputes, notices, and coordination with external counsel.

Bachelor’s in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution. (4 - 7 years of experience required as a in-house role)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple matters simultaneously.

High level of integrity, professional ethics, and commitment to organizational values.
