Role Description The Area Manager is a full-time in office role in various locations across Karnataka, responsible for overseeing branch operations and business performance within an assigned territory. The role involves managing and guiding branch teams, monitoring loan sourcing and portfolio quality, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

The Area

Manager will track sales targets, supervise customer onboarding and documentation, and support timely collection to maintain healthy asset quality. Daily responsibilities include market visits,



stakeholder relationship management, performance reviews, and reporting key metrics to regional leadership for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong team leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising branch or field staff.
- Candidates should possess business development and sales skills, including target achievement, market expansion, and portfolio growth.
- Candidates should possess operational and process management skills, such as branch administration, documentation oversight, and compliance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess customer relationship and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage local communities and build trust.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with capability to interpret performance data and address operational challenges.
- Relevant experience in financial services, NBFCs, microfinance, or retail lending, preferably working with small businesses or informal sector customers.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to work in the field regularly, adapt to diverse customer segments, and uphold ethical lending and responsible credit practices.
