Job Title – AI Engineer – Runtime, Integration & Security (Azure Container Apps · Azure API Management · Entra ID)

Job Nature – Permanent

Work Location – Hyderabad

Experience – 6+ years in cloud / backend engineering, of which 2+ years on Azure with containers, APIs and identity

Purpose of the role

Build the secure runtime, API, identity, integration and operational components that allow an agentic solution to execute reliably in production – container runtime, Azure API Management, Entra ID and managed identities, enterprise integrations, resilience patterns, telemetry and rollback – applying the platform's approved security patterns.

Key Responsibilities





- Implement Azure Container Apps (or approved runtime), Azure API Management, Entra ID, managed identities, secrets and configuration for the solution.
- Build enterprise integrations, APIs, connectors, events and failure-handling mechanisms to SAP and other source systems through approved interfaces.
- Apply least privilege, network isolation, encryption, logging, throttling, retry and resilience patterns defined by the AI Security Architect and Platform Owner.
- Automate security, contract, integration, performance, resilience and negative-path testing.
- Implement end-to-end telemetry, alerts, traces, dashboards and operational recovery.
- Package infrastructure and services for repeatable deployment, rollback and support handover; write operational recovery runbooks.

- Security engineering basics: threat-model actions, secure configuration, negative-path testing

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data, Business or a relevant discipline. Advanced degree or equivalent professional experience is an advantage.

The individual must be able to establish clear methods, make sound decisions, develop colleagues and progressively assume ownership from the implementation partner. Success requires confidence working across India and Europe and balanced judgement across delivery speed, reuse, security and Responsible AI.

This role helps establish a permanent ArcelorMittal AI capability, embeds repeatable engineering and control practices, and reduces dependency on the implementation partner through structured ownership transfer. Success is demonstrated when:

- Runtime is least-privileged and observable; interfaces recover safely; security tests pass before release; deployment and rollback are repeatable; support can diagnose incidents from telemetry.
- Runtime and infrastructure code; APIs / integrations / connectors; identity and security controls; automated security and resilience tests; telemetry and alerts; deployment and rollback assets; operational recovery runbooks.
