We are building a 40–50 key boutique resort portfolio across Meghalaya & Arunachal Pradesh over the next 6 months—and I am looking for the person who is going to lead the charge on the ground.

At Urban Trail Pvt Ltd (TourDeWorld), we have already solved the two hardest problems in hospitality: captive passenger demand and expansion capital. Now, we are aggressively locking in properties across Ri-Bhoi, Sohra, Dirang, and Tawang through revenue-share operating leases and modular cottage expansion.

I am hiring an Acquisition & Cluster Manager – North East (Base: Guwahati / Shillong).

Let me be clear about what this role is NOT: This is not a desk job, and this is not for a traditional city hotel manager who wants to sit inside a reception lobby in Police Bazar.

What you will actually be doing:

- Hunting & Closing Inventory: Spending 15–18 days a month on the highway scouting standalone resorts, negotiating revenue-share/lease structures with local landowners, and locking down 40–50 keys by Q2 2027.
- Navigating Local Realities: Working directly with local landowners, Dorbar Shnong / local bodies, and navigating regional compliance across Meghalaya and Arunachal without hand-holding.
- Supply Chain & Pre-Opening: Managing Guwahati-based prefabricated structure vendors, linen/FF&E; procurement,



and turning around leased properties into high-margin, standardized boutique stays inside 30–45 days.
- Cluster P&L;: Overseeing property-level operations, local staff, and quality control once the keys go live.

Who fits this best:

- Ex- or current BD / Supply Acquisition Managers from OYO, Treebo, MakeMyTrip, Zostel, or The Hosteller who have built supply in the North East.
- Operations / Contracting Heads from regional NE hospitality groups (Polo Towers, Centre Point, Ri Kynjai, etc.) or major Guwahati DMCs who know every property owner from Jorabat to Tawang by first name.
- You must already be based in Guwahati or Shillong with deep local vendor and landowner networks.

What’s on the table: A solid fixed base + an aggressive per-key acquisition & launch bounty. If you can close deals and commission keys rapid, you will out-earn standard corporate hospitality packages in the region by a wide margin.
