About English Gurukul

English Gurukul is a spoken-English program for school students, built on one core principle: every child speaks in every period, so that every student improves in English proficiency. We combine a trained in-class English trainer with our own AI-powered app, and we partner with schools (Grades 1-10) and adults across India to help children speak English with confidence.

What makes English Gurukul different

- Speaking first: every class follows a 5-step structure (warm-up, story, speaking round, game/activity, wrap-up) so that each child speaks in every period.
- Trainer plus technology: a dedicated trainer in class, and a lab period where each student practices on the web app (listen to a story, vocabulary, AI speaking practice, quiz). The AI adapts to each student's level.
- Vernacular bridge: difficult words are explained in simple English first, and in the local language only when needed.
- Visible progress: speaking videos from every class are shared with the school,



and the teacher dashboard and weekly analytics show how each student is progressing.

About the Role The Academic Coordinator is the academic face of English Gurukul for our partner schools. You introduce the program through classroom demos, then make sure it runs well: observing classes, supporting and coaching trainers, and working with principals and teachers so that every student improves in English proficiency. This is a field role - you will spend most of your time visiting schools.

Key Responsibilities

Introducing the program to schools

- Visit schools, meet principals and academic heads, and present live English Gurukul classroom demos.
- Follow up with interested schools and support their onboarding.

Retention and program quality

- Visit onboarded schools regularly to check the program is running well. • Observe classes, review trainer performance, and coach trainers.
- Track app usage and speaking-video sharing; follow up where they are low. • Meet principals and teachers to resolve concerns and drive renewals.

Requirements

- Excellent spoken and written English; confident presenting to principals and groups. • Graduate in any discipline; teaching, training, or school experience is a plus.
- Comfortable with frequent travel to schools; local language skills are a plus. • Self-driven and well organized.

Compensation and Perks

- CTC Rs. 55,000+ per month, depending on experience.
