Structural Engineer - Timber Structures will be responsible for structural analysis, design, and execution support for projects involving wood, mass timber, and Glulam systems . The role requires close collaboration with architects, design teams, and site execution teams to ensure structurally sound, efficient, and code-compliant timber-based structures.

Key Responsibilities-

Structural Design & Engineering

- Design and analyze structural systems using wood, engineered timber, Glulam, and hybrid structures
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with relevant Indian and international codes for timber structures

Project Coordination & Execution Support

- Work closely with architects and design teams to integrate structural intent with architectural design
- Provide structural inputs during design development and value engineering stages
- Support site teams with structural clarifications, shop drawings, and execution guidance

Material & System Expertise

- Evaluate timber grades, connections, joinery, and fastening systems
- Recommend suitable engineered wood systems based on load, span, and design requirements
- Review fabrication and installation methodologies for timber structures

Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure structural safety, stability, and durability of timber structures
- Conduct site inspections and resolve structural issues during execution
- Maintain proper documentation for approvals, audits, and compliance





Collaboration & Innovation

- Coordinate with external consultants, fabricators, and vendors
- Stay updated on global best practices in mass timber and sustainable construction
- Contribute to R&D; initiatives for innovative wood engineering solutions

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of wood, engineered timber, Glulam, CLT, and hybrid structures :

- Expertise in structural analysis and load calculations

- Proficiency in structural design software (ETABS, STAAD, SAP2000, RFEM, etc.)

- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings

- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering :

- Experience in structural design and execution

- Mandatory experience in wood / timber-based structures :

- Experience in luxury residential or architect-led projects is preferred
