About the Role : We are looking for a Purchase Executive in the nutraceutical (Nutra) industry who is responsible for the strategic and operational procurement of raw materials—such as vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts, and chemicals—as well as packaging materials required for production.

Key Responsibilities :

- Sourcing & Vendor Management : Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers for manufacturing, excipients, and suppliers or vendors from domestic and international markets.
- Negotiation : Secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining high quality.
- Inventory & Planning : Monitor stock levels and collaborate with sales teams to forecast demand, ensuring a steady supply of materials to prevent production delays.
- Compliance & Quality : Ensure all procured items meet strict regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, WHO-GMP, or country-specific requirements like EU/USA) and company defined quality specifications.
- Order Management : Manage the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle, including creating purchase orders (POs), tracking shipments, and coordinating with warehouse staff for receipt and inspection.




- Market Analysis : Conduct research on market trends, price volatility of ingredients, and emerging suppliers to optimize procurement strategies.
- Packaging materials : Coordinate or have a strong connection with vendors for printing and packaging.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Education : A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management is often preferred.
- Industry Experience :1-5 years in purchasing in the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical field.
- Technical Proficiency : Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Soft Skills : Robust negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities to handle supplier disputes and cross-functional coordination.
- Regulatory Knowledge : Understanding of procurement laws and quality certifications specific to the food and pharmaceutical sectors.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
