About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile sales, returns, and settlements from e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, and other marketplaces
- Track and account for payment gateway transactions and settlement cycles
- Maintain accurate records of online revenue, platform fees, commissions, and refunds
- Handle GST workings, filings support, and compliance related to e-commerce transactions
- Prepare monthly MIS reports covering sales, receivables, expenses, and profitability
- Monitor and reconcile inventory valuation in coordination with operations and warehouse teams
- Identify mismatches in marketplace payouts and follow up for resolution
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness of all financial records
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an e-commerce or retail business
- Solid understanding of marketplace settlement reports and payment gateway reconciliation
- Working knowledge of GST compliance and e-commerce taxation
- Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software
- Good Excel skills including formulas, lookups, and data analysis
Good to Have
- Experience handling Amazon/Flipkart seller panels or Shopify reports
- Exposure to inventory accounting and stock reconciliation
- Familiarity with financial dashboards and MIS automation
Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
