Senior Accountant (Import & Finance Operations)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.

Import & Trade Operations

- Handle end-to-end import documentation and compliance.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines.
- Manage Letters of Credit (LC), Buyers Credit (BC), SBLC, remittances, and foreign exchange transactions.
- Verify import documents including Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Insurance, and related documents.
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely clearance of imported goods.
- Liaise with banks for import payments and trade finance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, FEMA, RBI, Customs,



and other import regulations.
- Maintain records of import costs, duties, freight, and logistics expenses.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CA Inter, CMA, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 8-10 years of accounting experience.
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in import/export documentation and international trade finance.

Required Skills :

- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, Excel, and accounting software.
- Sound understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in LC, Buyers Credit, SBLC, Import Remittances, and Foreign Exchange transactions.
- Knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documentation, and import regulations.
- Solid analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Industry

Manufacturing, Trading, Import-Export, Chemicals, Polymers, or Industrial Products.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
