Key Responsibilities

- Handle daily cash collections and customer payments for vehicle sales, service, spare parts, accessories, and insurance.
- Receive payments through cash, cheque, UPI, credit/debit cards, and other approved payment modes.
- Issue receipts and ensure timely and accurate posting of all transactions.
- Maintain the daily cash book and perform cash reconciliation.
- Deposit daily collections into the bank and maintain related records.
- Pass accounting entries in Tally/ERP and maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform bank reconciliation and assist in month-end account closing.
- Verify invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documents before processing transactions.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Insurance, and Finance departments to ensure smooth payment processing.
- Assist in maintaining customer account records and outstanding payment tracking.
- Support statutory compliance by maintaining proper documentation for GST, TDS, and audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cashiering and accounting.




- Experience in an automobile dealership , preferably a Maruti Suzuki dealership , will be highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP/Prime , MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.

- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in vehicle billing, service billing, spare parts billing, and customer payment handling.
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of banking processes, daily cash closing, and reconciliation.
