The position of Assistant Teacher at Beyond Limitations - Special School & Therapy Centre, a trust-run organization, involves supporting special educators and therapists in delivering structured education and developmental care to children with special needs. The Assistant Teacher will help implement individualized education plans, assist students with academic tasks, and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom workplace. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one support to students, assisting with daily routines such as eating, hygiene, and mobility when required, and encouraging social interaction and participation. The role also includes supporting therapy sessions by assisting speech, occupational, or behavioral therapists, preparing materials, and ensuring children actively participate in prescribed activities. Additionally,



the Assistant Teacher will prepare teaching aids, maintain student records and progress notes, organize classroom and therapy spaces, and contribute to school events and programs. The position requires patience, empathy, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in working with children with special needs; prior experience is preferred but not mandatory. Upon completion of the employment period, an experience certificate will be provided by Beyond Limitations, acknowledging professional experience in special education and therapy support.
