Job Summary

The Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Chemistry is responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students, conducting research, guiding academic projects, and contributing to the academic and administrative development of the institution.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Academic Duties

- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and teaching aids in accordance with the approved syllabus.
- Conduct practical classes, tutorials, seminars, and workshops.
- Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, and internal assessments.
- Mentor and guide students in academic and career development.

Research & Development

- Conduct independent and collaborative research in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
- Publish research papers in reputed national and international journals.
- Guide undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and dissertations.
- Participate in conferences, seminars, and continuing education programs.

Administrative & Institutional Responsibilities

- Participate in departmental and institutional meetings and committees.
- Assist in curriculum development, syllabus revision, and academic planning.
- Support accreditation processes (PCI, AICTE, NAAC, NBA, etc.).




- Contribute to student admissions, examinations, and other academic activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of the Department or institution.

Required Qualifications

- M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry .
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (preferred / as per norms).
- Qualified GPAT / NET where applicable, as per regulatory requirements.

- Ability to use modern teaching tools and e-learning platforms.
- Commitment to academic excellence and professional ethics.

Experience

- Teaching and/or research experience as prescribed by regulatory bodies.
- Freshers with excellent academic records may be considered as per norms.

Pay: From ₹21,300.00 per month
