Job Purpose

To supervise and control the production of Continuous Transposed Conductors (CTC) ensuring output targets, quality standards, safety compliance, and cost efficiency are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

- Supervise day-to-day CTC production activities including wire preparation, transposition, insulation, compaction, and spooling :

- Ensure production plans and schedules are met as per dispatch requirements

- Optimize machine utilization and manpower deployment

- Monitor process parameters to ensure consistent product quality

Quality Control

- Coordinate with Quality Assurance for inspections, testing, and non-conformance resolution
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

Safety & Compliance

- Enforce EHS policies , safety procedures, and good housekeeping (5S)
- Ensure safe operation of CTC machines and handling of copper/aluminum conductors
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions





Team Management

- Supervise operators, technicians, and helpers
- Train recent employees on CTC processes, machines, and safety
- Evaluate performance and recommend skill development

Maintenance Coordination

- Coordinate with maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance :

- Ensure mínimal downtime of CTC machines

- Maintain spare parts and tooling readiness

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain production records, shift reports, rejection data, and efficiency metrics
- Track raw material consumption and minimize wastage
- Support audits (internal, customer, ISO)

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of CTC manufacturing processes :

- Understanding of copper/aluminum conductor properties

- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications :

- Leadership and people management skills

- Problem-solving and decision-making ability

- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing / TPM / 5S (preferred)

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering

Experience

- 4-10 years of experience in CTC or transformer conductor manufacturing
- Prior experience as a Supervisor or Senior Operator preferred

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
