Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook tandoor dishes according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Assist the CDP/Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure proper preparation, marination, and cooking of tandoor items.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the tandoor section.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Follow kitchen SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during service hours.
Requirements :
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Tandoor Commis or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of tandoor cooking techniques and equipment.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, cafés, or lounge bars will be an advantage.
