1. Role Purpose

To effectively teach Sanskrit to students in the Secondary Section as per the SSC Board curriculum , fostering interest in the language while ensuring strong academic performance and holistic development of students.

2. Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities

- Prepare and deliver structured lesson plans, teaching aids, and classroom activities .
- Conduct regular assessments, tests, and evaluations to monitor student progress.
- Prepare students for unit tests, prelim exams, and board examinations .

Classroom Management

- Maintain a disciplined, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Encourage students to develop reading, writing, and speaking skills in Sanskrit .
- Address learning difficulties and provide extra academic support where required.

Academic Planning & Documentation

- Prepare question papers, worksheets, assignments, and study materials .
- Maintain records of student attendance, marks, and academic performance .
- Participate in staff meetings, academic planning, and training sessions .

Student Development





- Encourage participation in language-based activities, competitions, and cultural events .
- Guide students in improving language comprehension and grammar skills .
- Support overall character building and discipline among students .

School Responsibilities

- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress when required .
- Assist in school functions, examinations, and academic events .
- Follow school policies, discipline guidelines, and academic standards.

3. Educational Qualifications

- M.A. in Sanskrit (mandatory) :

- B.Ed. / M.Ed. in Sanskrit (mandatory)

4. Experience

- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized school , preferably in SSC Board curriculum .

5. Key Skills

- Strong command over Sanskrit language and grammar :

- Effective classroom teaching skills

- Good communication and student engagement abilities
