Job Summary The Primary Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, competency-based Mathematics instruction aligned with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will develop students' foundational numeracy, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills through activity-based, experiential, and child-centered learning while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Learning - Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons as per the CBSE curriculum. - Develop conceptual understanding through activity-based and experiential learning. - Use digital tools, manipulatives, games, and real-life examples to make learning meaningful. - Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. - Encourage critical thinking, logical reasoning, and mathematical communication. - Integrate Mathematics with STEM and interdisciplinary learning wherever appropriate. 2. Curriculum Planning - Prepare annual plans, unit plans, lesson plans, and teaching-learning materials. - Design worksheets, assignments, projects, and enrichment activities. - Maintain curriculum pacing in accordance with the academic calendar. 3. Assessment & Evaluation - Conduct formative and summative assessments. - Prepare competency-based question papers and assessment rubrics. - Analyse student performance and implement remedial and enrichment programmes. - Maintain assessment records and report cards.



- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents. 4. Classroom Management - Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom. - Promote collaborative learning and active student participation. - Ensure classroom safety and student well-being. 5. Parent Communication - Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs). - Share student progress and suggest strategies for improvement. - Respond professionally to parent queries. 6. School Responsibilities - Participate in assemblies, competitions, exhibitions, and school events. - Perform examination duties and administrative responsibilities. - Support admissions, orientation programmes, and academic initiatives. 7. Professional Development - Attend CBSE Capacity Building Programmes, workshops, and training sessions. - Stay updated with NEP 2020, CBSE assessment reforms, and creative teaching methodologies. - Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics / Science or equivalent. - B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. from a recognized institution. - CTET/TET qualification preferred (as applicable). - Qualifications should comply with CBSE and NCTE norms. Experience - 2-5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred. Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
