Key NMC Qualifications for Professor (Forensic Medicine & Toxicology) :

- Educational Qualification : A postgraduate degree (MD in Forensic Medicine/DNB in Forensic Medicine).

- Teaching Experience :

- Total : 8 years of teaching experience as a postgraduate (PG) teacher in a recognized medical college.

- Directly Prior : Must have served as an Associate Professor in Forensic Medicine for at least 3 years in a recognized/permitted medical college.

- Research Publications :

- A minimum of 4 research publications (original papers, meta-analysis, systematic reviews, or case series).

- Publications must be in indexed journals (Medline, PubMed, Scopus, etc.).

- At least two publications must have been published during the tenure as Associate Professor.

- The teacher must be the first author or corresponding author.

- Registration : A valid registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC). NMC +3
