Role To support students’ emotional, social, and behavioural wellbeing and work closely with teachers and parents to ensure student welfare.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counselling to students
- Support students with emotional, behavioural, or adjustment concerns
- Work closely with teachers, wellness staff, and school leadership
- Maintain confidentiality and counselling records
- Guide students on coping skills, stress management, and wellbeing
- Conduct awareness sessions for students when required
- Communicate with parents in consultation with school leadership
- Refer cases to external professionals when necessary
Qualifications & Experience
Postgraduate qualification in Psychology / Counselling Relevant certification or licence preferred Experience working in a school environment preferred Solid listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
