About Us : About the Role : Key responsibilities :

- Conduct regular field visits to government schools across Bangalore to observe program implementation and collect first-hand data.
- Engage directly with students through classroom observations to assess learning outcomes and program experience.
- Design and administer qualitative and quantitative tools appropriate for a school-based context (student assessments, attendance trackers, feedback forms, FGDs with students, teachers and parents).
- Build relationships with school principals, teachers, and government education officials to ensure smooth data collection and program monitoring.
- Lead baseline, midline, and endline assessments to track student learning levels and other key indicators.
- Document student stories and school-level case studies that capture program impact in an authentic, child-sensitive manner.
- Prepare donor reports and internal progress reports with field evidence and data.
- Train and supervise team members on data collection, observation protocols, and ethical engagement with children.




- Facilitate learning reviews with the program team to reflect on field findings and improve implementation.
- Maintain a database of school-level and student-level data in compliance with child safety and data protection norms.

Required Skills & Qualification :

- Report writing in English and Kannada — clear, concise, and field-grounded
- Case study and human-interest story writing (not AI generated)
- Data tools — Kobo Toolbox, ODK, Google Sheets, Excel; basic visualization skills
- Master's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of MEL experience, preferably in education programs or child-focused development work.

Languages :

- English — Fluent (spoken & written) — Required
- Kannada — Fluent (spoken & written) — Required (for school and community engagement)

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
