Requirements :

- Expertise in library science, cataloguing systems, and school library management
- Experience working as a librarian in a school or educational institution (ICSE & CBSE preferred)
- Proficiency in English language (reading, writing and communication)
- 1 to 2 years of experience managing school libraries or academic resource centres
- Freshers with B.Lib.Sc. / M.Lib.Sc. or Library and Information Science degrees are welcome
- Acute attention to detail
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to relocate to Visnagar, Gujarat
- Basic knowledge, skills and working functionality awareness for Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with library management systems, cataloguing, and classification methods
- Strong work ethic and high work quality standards

Responsibilities :

- Managing and organising the school library and maintaining an updated catalogue of books and learning resources
- Classifying and cataloguing books using standard library systems
- Assisting students and teachers in locating books, research materials, and reference resources
- Promoting reading habits and a culture of learning among students
- Planning and organising reading programmes, book discussions, and library activities
- Maintaining records of book circulation, borrowing, and returns
- Recommending and procuring new books, journals,



and educational resources
- Ensuring proper maintenance and preservation of library materials
- Monitoring student behaviour and maintaining discipline within the library
- Maintaining accurate records of library inventory and usage
- Coordinating with school administration for resource planning and library development
- Communicating deadlines, timelines, lead times and priorities to team members
- Planning work schedules ahead of time in concurrence with team members and other leaders
