Job Title : Admissions Counsellor

Job Purpose

The Admissions Counsellor is responsible for managing the student admissions process, guiding prospective parents, ensuring excellent customer experience, and supporting enrollment growth. The role requires strong communication, relationship-building, and coordination skills aligned with the school’s vision and values.

Key Responsibilities1. Admissions Management

- Counsel parents on curriculum, school programs, policies, and facilities
- Guide families through the complete admissions process from enquiry to enrollment
- Ensure timely follow-up and conversion of prospective leads into admissions

2. Parent Engagement & Relationship Building

- Build trust and solid relationships with parents and guardians
- Address parent concerns professionally and provide accurate information
- Conduct school tours, orientation sessions, and admission meetings

3. Documentation & Records

- Manage admission forms, student documentation, and verification processes
- Maintain accurate records in admission systems (Meritto/CRM/School ERP)
- Coordinate with accounts team for fee-related processes and confirmations

4. Coordination with Academic & Admin Teams

- Coordinate with teachers and academic coordinators for student assessments (if required)
- Work closely with school administration to ensure smooth joining procedures




- Support grade-wise seat planning and enrollment reporting

5. Events & Marketing Support

- Assist in organizing admission drives, open houses, and school promotional events
- Support outreach initiatives, campaigns, and parent interaction programs
- Represent the school professionally in community events and education fairs

6. Reporting & Data Tracking

- Prepare daily/weekly admission reports for management review
- Track enquiry sources, conversion ratios, and admission trends
- Ensure targets and timelines are met as per school growth plans

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education/Management preferred)
- Diploma/Certification in Counselling or Sales is an added advantage

Skills & Competencies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong convincing and counselling ability
- Customer-service mindset with empathy and professionalism
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace / CRM tools
- Ability to multitask, follow up, and meet admission targets
- Strong organizational and documentation skills

Experience

- 1-4 years of experience in admissions, counselling, education sales, or parent relations preferred
- Prior experience in schools or educational institutions is an advantage

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹23,440.38 - ₹43,682.57 per month
