Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) - English (Classes IX & X)
Job Summary
The TGT English teacher is responsible for teaching English language and literature to students of Classes 9 and 10, developing their reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills in alignment with the prescribed curriculum and examination requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language and Literature to Classes IX & X as per the prescribed syllabus
- Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons
- Develop students’ grammar, vocabulary, writing, comprehension, and communication skills
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids
- Conduct assessments, unit tests, and examinations; evaluate answer scripts
- Provide feedback and academic support to students
- Prepare students for board examinations and internal assessments
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning setting
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs
- Maintain academic records, attendance, and progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
