Role requirements

- Located in or close to Powai, Mumbai, India
- Language requirements: English, Hindi, Marati HINDI is mandatory
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transport or International Business Administration
- Proven experience as a Logistics Specialist or in a similar role (Supply Chain, Export/Import, Procurement, Sales, Planning, etc)
- Strong knowledge of transportation processes, supply chain management, and planning
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Functional

- Oversee and manage logistics operations for both international and domestic shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Monitor and track shipments, resolving any issues that arise during transit.
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers.




- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Analyze and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance and key metrics.
