Gold Valuation Officer (or Gold Appraiser) is responsible for determining the authenticity, purity, and market value of gold items pledged as collateral for loans. They use techniques like acid testing and karat meters, ensuring accurate valuation based on weight and current market rates to protect against fraud. Key Responsibilities and Roles :

- Gold Assessment : Physically inspect, weigh, and test gold ornaments to verify purity (9K−24K9 K minus 24 K9K−24K) and detect fraud or plating.
- Valuation Calculation : Calculate the loan value based on net weight (excluding stones/alloys) and current market rates (e.g., MCX/IBJA rates).
- Operational Compliance : Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements for loan processing.
- Customer Service & Sales : Address customer queries, explain valuation results, and support gold loan marketing to generate business.
- Documentation & Safety : Maintain accurate records and securely handle customer jewelry during the appraisal process.





Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Experience : Generally 1-4 years in gold appraisal or jewelry industry.
- Technical Knowledge : Proficiency in using touchstones, acid testing, and electronic gold testing equipment.
- Accuracy & Integrity : High attention to detail to ensure exact valuation and maintain trust.
- Education : HSC With 2+ year of experience are prefer
- Salary :30-40k
