Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist or Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. Duties will include typing out prescriptions, retrieving medicines for patients, and explaining prescription information to patients.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately type out prescriptions according to the notes given by the doctors.
- Retrieve prescribed medications and other healthcare products for patients.
- Provide friendly and skilled customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Explain prescription information, dosage instructions, and potential side effects to patients.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Adhere to all relevant legal regulations and company policies regarding medication dispensing and patient confidentiality.
Requirements :
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription typing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and pharmaceutical practices.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including knowledge of pharmacy software systems.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
