Role Overview
The Nursing Superintendent will be responsible for overall nursing administration, patient care standards, and management of nursing staff across the hospital. The role involves ensuring smooth coordination between doctors, nursing teams, and hospital administration to maintain high standards of clinical care and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the nursing department across wards, ICU, OT, and other clinical areas
- Manage nursing staff scheduling, supervision, and performance :
- Ensure high standards of patient care, infection control, and clinical protocols :
- Maintain proper nursing documentation and compliance with hospital policies :
- Conduct training and orientation programs for nursing staff
- Coordinate with doctors and hospital management to ensure smooth patient care operations
- Support hospital quality initiatives and accreditation processes such as NABH
Qualifications :
- B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing :
- Registered with the Telangana State Nursing Council
Skills :
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good clinical knowledge and nursing administration experience
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
