Job Summary

The AR Executive is responsible for managing outstanding insurance claims, resolving denials, and ensuring timely reimbursement from insurance companies. The role includes analyzing denial reasons, correcting claim issues, filing appeals, and following up with payers to reduce AR aging.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounts Receivable Follow-ups

- Review aging AR reports and prioritize claims for follow-up.
- Contact insurance companies via call or payer portals for claim status.
- Ensure timely reimbursement of outstanding claims .

1. Denial Management
- Analyze EOB (Explanation of Benefits) and ERA (Electronic Remittance Advice) to identify denial reasons.
- Work on common denial types such as:

- Eligibility issues
- Authorization missing
- Coding errors
- Timely filing denials
- Duplicate claims
- Medical necessity denials
- Prepare and submit appeals with supporting documents .

1. Claim Correction & Re-submission

- Correct claims in billing system based on denial reason.
- Coordinate with coding or charge entry teams to fix errors.
- Resubmit corrected claims to insurance.

- Documentation

- Maintain accurate notes in the billing system.




- Track denial trends and recurring issues.

- Reporting & Productivity

- Meet daily call targets and productivity metrics .
- Reduce AR aging >90 days .
- Support team in denial prevention strategies .

Required Skills :

- Knowledge of Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) :

- Experience with Denial Management :

- Understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS codes :

- Knowledge of payer guidelines and insurance processes :

- Strong analytical and communication skills :

- Experience with billing software or EMR systems

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree (Commerce, Life Science, Healthcare Administration preferred)
- 1-3+ years of AR / Denial Management experience in medical billing

Common Tools Used

- Medical billing software (Epic, eClinicalWorks, Kareo, Athena, etc.)
- Payer portals (Availity, Navinet, etc.)
- Excel for AR reports

Job Types : Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
