Financial Accounting & Reporting :

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

- Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions in Tally software.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss accounts, Balance Sheets, and cash flow statements.

- Handle bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.

- Assist in the finalization of accounts and preparation for audits.

- Logistics & Transport Accounting :

- Process and verify transport and freight invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.

- Track and manage operational costs related to transport, fuel, maintenance, and other logistics activities.

- Reconcile transporter accounts and resolve discrepancies.

- Prepare reports related to logistics costs, revenue, and profitability.

- Understand and manage accounting for Goods Transport Agency (GTA) services and related compliance.

- Statutory Compliance :

- Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, etc.).

- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings.

- Stay updated with changes in taxation and statutory laws relevant to the transport and logistics industry.

- Consultancy Support (as applicable) :

- Assist in preparing financial data and analysis for consultancy projects.

- Contribute to cost analysis and financial modeling for logistics solutions offered to clients.

- Record Keeping & Administration :





- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation, both physical and digital.

- Coordinate with other departments for financial information and query resolution.

- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree (M.Com) or professional accounting certification would be an advantage.

- Experience :

- Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar accounting role, preferably [Specify number of years, e.g., 2-5 years].

- Essential : Demonstrable experience in the transport and logistics industry.

- Experience in a consultancy environment is a plus.

- Technical Skills :

- Essential : Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime is mandatory.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.

- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other relevant tax regulations.

- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
