Engineering & Science Full time Remote: Mechanical Design Engineer - Power Transformer

As a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in Transformer Design at the Global Engineering Center in Vadodara, India, you'll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, diversity, and collaboration. The Transformers Business Unit is leading the way in energy transformation, delivering advanced solutions across a wide range of industries.

The successful candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team heavily specialized in Power Transformers design covering different countries.
Preparation of General Arrangement, fabrication drawings, Bill of materials and submission to customer as per project schedule.
Will be part of a Global Engineering Centre team and your task is to contribute to the global design work with positive team atmosphere and networking.
Responsible for development of transformer designs in coordination with global Hitachi Energy factory based on the purchase order requirement, ordering specification in different areas of transformer mechanical design.
Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network.
Demonstrated team building skills and networking skills, would be a preference.
Bachelor's degree of Mechanical Engineering.

- 2 - 7 years' experience working in mechanical design for Power Transformers.
- Candidates with higher experience also to be considered. Experience in order designs,
- Experience in Customer drawings & fabrication drawings.
- Experience in Simulation or software development would be advantageous.




- Experience on Microsoft office and tools.
- Additional languages knowledge is considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
