As a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer, you will build and maintain modern, end-to-end web applications for Thoriva's AI-enabled enterprise solutions. This role spans front-end engineering, backend services, cloud-native development, accessibility, performance, and secure digital delivery in support of AI-enabled grants and benefits program management.
You will work closely with senior engineers, product, data, security, and domain teams to turn well-defined requirements into reliable, secure, and maintainable features across the stack. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience building user interfaces and APIs, is comfortable working in an Agile team, and is eager to grow into broader technical ownership.
Develop, test, and maintain full stack features spanning responsive web interfaces, backend services, APIs, and integration components.

- Implement capabilities supporting eligibility review, fraud detection, case management, reviewer queues, audit trails, alerts, and reporting workflows.
- Build reusable front-end components and screens aligned to established design patterns, along with RESTful API endpoints and backend business logic.
- Work with data, AI/ML, product, and design teams to display model outputs, risk scores, confidence ratings, evidence packages, and reviewer actions in the application.
- Follow established patterns for secure data access to sensitive program, eligibility, claims, provider, transaction, and case data.
- Build interfaces that meet accessibility (Section 508 / WCAG), usability, responsiveness, and performance standards.
- Support integration with databases, message queues, external APIs, identity providers, and cloud services.




- Write and maintain unit and integration tests, and participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and release activities.
- Create and update technical documentation, API specifications, and implementation notes.
- Troubleshoot defects and production issues, and contribute to performance and reliability improvements.
- 3-5 years of experience in full stack, front-end, or backend software engineering, or a closely related role.
- Hands-on experience building web user interfaces and backend services or APIs in a production setting.
- Working proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Working proficiency in at least one backend language such as Node.js, Java, Python, C#, .NET, Go, or similar technologies.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar platforms, including writing queries.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and cross-browser behavior.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery, CI/CD practices, source control (Git), and automated testing.
- Ability to take well-defined requirements and deliver working, tested features with limited supervision.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with containers, Docker, serverless services, API gateways, or message queues.
- Interest in or exposure to AI/ML model integration, risk scoring, reviewer queues, audit trails, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Experience with design systems, component libraries, dashboards, or data visualization.
- Awareness of secure data handling, PII/PHI, encryption, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with onshore/offshore delivery teams.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
