Senior network engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and operating enterprise network and security infrastructure. Role focuses on Zscaler Zero Trust platform management, cloud and on-premises connectivity, security policy implementation, and incident response across hybrid environments.
Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 technical support for Zscaler security services and troubleshoot connectivity and policy issues
Implement and maintain Zscaler security policies, web filtering, SSL inspection, and access controls
Manage GRE/IPSec tunnels, cloud integration, and remote user connectivity across environments
Handle incident and service management through ServiceNow with on-call rotation participation
Identify automation opportunities and contribute to process improvements and operational documentation
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Hands-on experience with Zscaler Zero Trust Branch, ZIA, ZPA, and SSE platforms
Advanced knowledge of enterprise firewalls, VPN technologies, and network segmentation
Proficiency with identity providers such as Azure AD/Entra ID and Okta
Experience with ServiceNow, network monitoring tools, and security incident investigation
Knowledge of Python, REST APIs, and Ansible for automation tasks
