Responsibilities

Design and develop cloud-native microservices and integrate features into Portworx products.

Own backend design and development through production, incorporating customer feedback and resolving unit, system, and deployment issues.

Perform coding, unit and functional testing, code reviews, documentation, debugging, and performance analysis.

Design and operate microservices in distributed systems scaling to thousands of nodes.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, product management, and external customer beta partners.

Work primarily from the Bangalore office in an open-office environment.

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
- 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and testing enterprise products, with Golang preferred.
- Understanding of microservice architectures and cloud-native platforms.




- Experience designing scalable software for distributed public and private cloud environments.
- Expert debugging skills and ability to navigate ambiguous problems at scale.
- Experience collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders on production-quality software.
- Solid background in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented open-office setting.
