1. Job Purpose

To provide technical service, installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support for flow meters and other industrial measurement instruments.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and service flow meters and related instruments at customer sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and instrumentation-related issues.
- Carry out testing, calibration, inspection, and preventive maintenance of instruments.
- Attend customer complaints and provide timely technical support.
- Visit customer sites for installation, breakdown service, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Prepare service reports after completing customer visits and technical work.
- Coordinate with the Service, Production, Quality, and Sales teams for resolving technical issues.
- Check instruments before installation and ensure proper functioning after installation.
- Handle service tools, testing equipment, and company instruments responsibly.
- Maintain proper records of service calls, site visits, repairs, and replaced components.
- Explain basic operation and handling of instruments to customers whenever required.
- Identify recurring technical issues and report them to the concerned senior/management.
- Follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and service guidelines.
- Perform other technical and service-related duties assigned by the Management.

3. Customer Site Visit Requirement





The candidate should be willing to travel to customer locations for:

- Installation and commissioning
- Troubleshooting and breakdown support
- Preventive maintenance
- Calibration and testing
- Product demonstrations and technical assistance
- Customer complaint resolution

4. Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic instruments.
- Basic understanding of flow meters and industrial instrumentation.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use basic testing equipment such as a multimeter.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to prepare basic service reports.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

- Accuracy of service and testing work.

6. Job Requirements

- Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
- Valid driving licence will be an advantage.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may apply.
- Prior experience in instrumentation, flow meters, industrial equipment, or field service will be preferred.

Pay: ₹9,475.74 - ₹28,314.98 per month
