We are looking for a skilled AC Technician to handle air-conditioning installation, piping, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The technician will be responsible for ensuring AC systems are installed and maintained properly and operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission different types of air-conditioning systems.
- Perform AC copper pipe installation, cutting, flaring, brazing, and insulation.
- Install indoor and outdoor AC units as per specifications.
- Carry out AC servicing, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot AC system faults and technical issues.
- Check and maintain refrigerant levels and identify refrigerant leakage.
- Perform vacuuming, pressure testing, and refrigerant charging when required.
- Check electrical connections and basic AC components.
- Replace faulty components and carry out necessary repairs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance of AC systems.
- Ensure proper drainage and installation of drain pipes.
- Test AC performance after installation and servicing.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and service records.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure quality workmanship.
- Communicate professionally with customers and explain service requirements.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) or relevant technical qualification.
- Previous experience in AC installation and servicing is preferred.
- Good knowledge of copper piping, refrigerant handling, and AC troubleshooting.
- Ability to use basic AC service tools and equipment.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer and project sites.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.
