Job Summary

You'll be the first point of contact for everything people-related - from a new hire's first day to monthly payroll cycles. You'll keep the office running smoothly and the team taken care of, while keeping records audit-clean.

Responsibilities

- Run monthly payroll end-to-end, including statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS).
- Own hiring coordination - sourcing, scheduling, candidate experience, offers.
- Manage office operations - vendors, supplies, facilities, lunch logistics.
- Drive employee relations - onboarding, 1:1s, grievance, exit interviews.
- Maintain employee records - contracts, leave, attendance, ID proofs - accurately.
- Handle admin work - travel, reimbursements, basic compliance filings.

Requirements

- 1+ years in an HR / People Ops / HR Generalist role.
- Hands-on experience running payroll for at least 20+ employees.
- Familiarity with Indian labour compliance (PF, ESI, PT, gratuity).




- Strong spreadsheet skills and comfort with HRMS tools (GreytHR, Zoho People, Keka, etc.).
- Excellent written and spoken English; explicit, kind communication.
- High ownership - comfortable being the only HR person in the room.
