Profile: Executive Assistant

Experience:

- 6-10+ years of total experience
- Prior exposure to a leadership office, strategy, or cross-functional operations role
- Experience working directly with senior management or department heads

Roles:

Single Point of Contact

- Act as the primary interface between the MD and all department heads, filtering, prioritising and routing issues that need the MD’s attention
- Ensure the MD’s decisions, directives and priorities are accurately communicated to and understood by every department
- Escalate risks, delays and conflicts to the MD with context and a recommended course of action

Departmental Reviews & Governance

- Plan and conduct periodic performance and progress reviews with every department
- Track commitments made in reviews through to closure and maintain a live view of open items across the organisation
- Flag underperformance, bottlenecks or deviations from plan early, with root-cause context

Strategic Advisory

- Advise the MD on organisational,



operational and people matters using data and cross-department context
- Prepare briefing notes, leadership material and decision papers for the MD

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Drive follow-through on inter-departmental initiatives that need the MD’s mandate to move forward
- Represent the MD’s office in leadership and department-level meetings as required
- Build and maintain relationships with department heads so information flows both ways

HR Systems, Review & Consultant Management

- Regularly review HR performance, employee productivity, attendance, attrition and departmental KPIs
- Coordinate with HR consultants, recruitment agencies and external experts to ensure effective execution of HR initiatives

Qualification:

- Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Management or a related field
