Role Overview
The OBIEE/OAS Senior Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting reporting solutions using Oracle Business Intelligence technologies (OAS/OBIEE). The role involves close collaboration with business analysts, stakeholders, and source system teams to deliver reporting and dashboard solutions aligned with business requirements and architecture standards.
Required Experience
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in OBIEE/OAS and BI Publisher development.
- Robust communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work in UK shift timings
Timelines to project - 2-3 yrs (approx.)
Technical Skills - Mandatory
- OBIEE/OAS 12c development and reporting.
- BI Publisher development.
- Master Data Management (MDM).
- OBIEE/OAS security, SSO, LDAP, and data-level security.
- MUDE, Scheduler, Usage Tracking, Cache Management,
Repository and Presentation Server configuration.
- Oracle Database and Data Warehousing concepts.
- Star and Snowflake Schema design.
- Repository, Catalog, and BI Publisher report migrations.
- PL/SQL query development, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Linux administration knowledge.
Preferred Skills
- OBIEE/OAS Administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business reporting requirements.
- Design and develop OBIEE/OAS dashboards, reports, and BI Publisher reports.
- Create technical specification documents from functional requirements.
- Implement security-first reporting solutions.
- Develop and execute test scripts.
- Support migrations, deployments, and post-production activities.
- Provide end-user training when required.
- Perform BAU support and maintenance activities.
