Position Summary

The HL7 Integration Developer designs, builds, tests, deploys, and supports healthcare interfaces that

move clinical and operational data securely and reliably between internal applications, customer systems,

laboratories, hospitals, public-health partners, and other external platforms. This role requires hands-on

development in both Java and Lua and production experience with both Mirth Connect and

iNTERFACEWARE Iguana.

Work Timings- 9 AM to 5 PM EST





Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain HL7 interfaces and integration workflows using Mirth

Connect and iNTERFACEWARE Iguana.

• Write, review, troubleshoot, and optimize Java and Lua code used for message transformation,

validation, routing, enrichment, and error handling.

• Implement and support HL7 v2 message flows, including ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, ACK/NACK

handling, custom Z-segments, and customer-specific specifications.

• Build and support TCP/IP MLLP, HTTPS/REST, SOAP, SFTP, database, file-based, and related

integration endpoints.

• Create mapping specifications and transform data among HL7, XML, JSON, delimited files, and

relational databases.

• Perform unit, integration, regression, volume, and end-to-end testing; create test messages and

document expected results.

• Monitor production interfaces, analyze logs and queues, resolve message failu
