Tasks

What you'll do:

• Achieve sales targets and manage assigned customer accounts
• Prepare rate offers, negotiate transportation agreements, and secure profitable, long-term business
• Acquire new customers and identify business opportunities using sales tools and market information
• Analyze markets and accounts, develop action plans and collaborate with Inside Sales and the Commercial Team
• Conduct customer visits and sales presentations to promote products and services
• Organize customer events, maintain customer data, and record sales activities in Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
• Promote eChannels and electronic Air Waybills (eAWB)
• Manage long-term capacity agreements (LTCs) and negotiate special rates in coordination with Revenue Management




• Develop tailored logistics solutions with Handling and Inside Sales teams
• Share customer insights with relevant stakeholders and support customer segmentation
• Coordinate the handling of customer claims and complaints in accordance with established procedures

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma/GED, college degree or vocational training in a relevant field is required
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant cargo experience, preferably in sales or a related field within the transport and logistics industry
• Must be willing to work shifts
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, or Kannada is an added advantage
• Industry knowledge of airfreight, logistics, transportation and sales
• Good IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Knowledge of CRM systems and analytics tools, preferably Pow
