About Ozark & Co.Ozark & Co. is looking for an experienced UK Year End Accounts Reviewer to join our accounting team. We are seeking a professional with practical experience in UK accountancy practice, year-end accounts review, and statutory accounts preparation for UK clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Review year-end accounts prepared for UK limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
- Check financial statements, trial balances, working papers and supporting schedules for accuracy.
- Review accruals, prepayments, depreciation, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Identify errors, inconsistencies and missing information in accounts prepared by the team.
- Ensure accounts comply with applicable UK accounting standards and relevant statutory requirements.
- Review corporation tax computations and supporting schedules where required.
- Coordinate with accounts preparers to resolve queries and correct review points.
- Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Work with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.

Required Skills and Experience
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in UK year-end accounts preparation and review.




- Previous experience working with UK accountancy practices or UK accounting clients.
- Good knowledge of UK statutory accounts and applicable accounting standards.
- Practical experience reviewing financial statements and identifying accounting errors.
- Familiarity with UK limited company and sole trader accounts.
- Working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with accounts preparers.

Qualification: ACCA, ACA, AAT or another relevant accounting qualification is an advantage, but practical UK accounting experience and technical skills are more significant.
