Role Description The SEO Specialist – Local Search will manage and optimize local search visibility for clients, with a focus on improving rankings, traffic, and conversions for location-based queries. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, implementing on-page SEO enhancements, and executing ethical link-building strategies. The role also involves monitoring performance via web analytics tools, preparing clear reports, and collaborating with marketing and content teams to align SEO initiatives with broader campaign goals.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Keyword Research skills,



including identifying local search terms and intent-based queries.
- Candidates should possess SEO Audits skills, covering technical, on-page, and local SEO assessments.
- Candidates should possess On-Page SEO skills, such as optimizing metadata, content structure, internal linking, and local landing pages.
- Candidates should possess Link Building skills, focusing on high-quality, white-hat backlinks and local citation management.
- Candidates should possess Web Analytics skills, including use of tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and reporting dashboards.
- Relevant experience in local SEO for multi-location or brick-and-mortar businesses is beneficial.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to interpret data into actionable recommendations.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage.
