Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Architect with strong expertise in SAP cloud technologies, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP AI capabilities, GROW with SAP, and SAP Cloud ALM. The role will be responsible for defining SAP technical architecture, managing cloud and hybrid landscapes, enabling secure integrations, supporting S/4HANA Cloud transformation programs, and establishing monitoring, operations, automation, and governance frameworks.

The ideal candidate will combine traditional SAP BASIS knowledge with hands-on experience in cloud operations, SAP BTP administration, identity and security, SAP Cloud ALM, AI enablement, and SAP Activate implementation methodologies.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong SAP BASIS experience across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Private Edition, or SAP cloud transformation programs.
- Strong knowledge of SAP BTP architecture and administration.
- Experience with SAP Cloud ALM implementation and operations capabilities.
- Knowledge of GROW with SAP and SAP Activate methodology.
- Experience with:

- SAP Integration Suite
- SAP Cloud Transport Management
- SAP Solution Manager
- SAP Web Dispatcher
- SAP Fiori and Gateway
- SAP HANA database administration
- SAP system monitoring and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of public-cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, SAP Business AI, and AI service enablement.
- Strong understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, proxies, certificates, encryption,



and secure connectivity.
- Experience with backup, recovery, high availability, disaster recovery, and business-continuity planning.
- Knowledge of transport management, release management, DevOps, and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with APIs, REST, OData, OAuth, SAML, JSON, and cloud-native concepts.
- Ability to prepare technical architecture documents, solution designs, runbooks, operating procedures, and governance standards.

Leadership and Governance Responsibilities

- Own the technical architecture for SAP BASIS, BTP, Cloud ALM, and AI platform services.
- Lead architecture workshops and technical design reviews.
- Define reference architectures, standards, reusable templates, and operating procedures.
- Review technical designs and ensure alignment with SAP best practices.
- Manage technical risks, assumptions, dependencies, and design decisions.
- Provide effort estimates, resource plans, implementation roadmaps, and project timelines.
- Lead technical teams across BASIS, BTP, integration, security, infrastructure, and operations.
- Mentor consultants and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Support recruitment, technical assessments, and capability development.
- Establish governance for clean core, cloud adoption, security, observability, and platform lifecycle management.
- Promote automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices where appropriate.




- Ensure architecture decisions support scalability, cost optimization, reliability, and maintainability.

Implementation and Support Activities

- Lead technical design and execution for SAP greenfield, brownfield, rollout, and cloud migration projects.
- Coordinate development, testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and operational handover.
- Develop technical cutover plans and conduct mock cutover rehearsals.
- Establish support models, monitoring procedures, escalation matrices, and service-level agreements.
- Perform root-cause analysis for critical incidents and recurring technical problems.
- Coordinate with SAP product support, hyperscaler teams, and third-party vendors.
- Support audits, disaster-recovery tests, business-continuity exercises, and technical compliance reviews.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation, orchestration, and self-service operations.
