Solid experience managing IBM i (AS/400) environments, including LPARs, PTFs, and system performance/capacity management.
Good knowledge of storage and availability management, including ASP/IASP, BRMS backups and restores, HA/DR processes, and recovery testing.
Hands-on production support experience, including job and queue management, subsystem tuning, spool management, and proactive system monitoring.
Experience performing Role Swap activities (HA switchovers and failbacks), including execution, validation, communication, and post-implementation support.
Ability to handle P1/P2 incidents, perform troubleshooting, coordinate with vendors, and drive issues through to RCA.
Willingness to work in 24x7 shifts and on-call rotations, with strong ownership and communication skills.
