We are currently seeking a Data Architect Lead Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Databricks Solution Architect

Role Summary

The Databricks Solution Architect will be responsible for defining and governing the end-to-end solution architecture for cloud-based data, analytics, and AI platforms. The role will lead the technical design across Databricks, AWS, Terraform, data integration, governance, and security to ensure scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions.

The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, data engineers, and project leadership to translate business requirements into implementable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

- Define end-to-end architecture for Databricks-based solutions.
- Design scalable data platforms leveraging AWS services and Databricks Lakehouse architecture.
- Produce architecture artefacts, solution blueprints, and technical design documents.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and governance standards.

Technical Leadership

- Provide technical leadership to engineering and project teams.
- Lead architecture workshops and design reviews.
- Establish best practices for data engineering, Dev Ops, and platform operations.
- Review and approve key technical deliverables.

Cloud and Infrastructure

- Define Infrastructure-as-Code standards using Terraform.
- Support environment strategy, networking, security, and deployment models.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery considerations are incorporated.

Governance and Security

- Define security architecture and access control models.
- Ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.




- Establish data governance, lineage, and monitoring capabilities.

Required Experience

- 8+ years in solution or technical architecture roles.
- Experience delivering large-scale cloud data platforms.
- Strong Databricks architecture expertise.
- Solid AWS architecture experience.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, lakehouse, analytics, and AI/ML architectures.
- Experience facilitating architecture and stakeholder workshops.
